I’m Nikki Butler, founder of Salt Fringe Events and I am so excited to introduce this new venture to you all!
When I got married, my husband and I received so much feedback about how our wedding was not only easy on the eyes, but that it had nonchalant, relaxed, and straight up FUN vibes. I want all my events to emulate this. I want you and your guests to feel rather than just witness.
I began my career in public relations and event management at a boutique PR firm here in Phoenix. With no formal training, I was thrown in head first and had to catch on to the business day by day. I headed up PR efforts for clients in the non-profit, home builder and healthcare spaces, and also took part in planning, designing and executing large charity events.
From there, I went on to become the spokesperson for the Arizona Lottery, spearheading all its PR efforts and public events, and speaking on behalf of the agency in media interviews. Before branching out on my own, I ended up at a national public relations agency that specialized in consumer brands. There, I went from booking local media to national media, coordinating clients’ media schedules at trade shows and planning and executing media and influencer outreach events.
I had always wanted to work for myself, so I spent a year marketing myself by word-of-mouth to friends and family who were so gracious to trust me and help me get more experience under my belt.
And now, here we are! At Salt Fringe Events, we don’t do stuffy, we don’t do stiff and we don’t do typical. We strive to serve the untraditional, unconventional and a little bit “salty” client! If that’s you, hit us up!
I live in Scottsdale, AZ with my husband, Thor, sweet baby boy, Cannon, and crazy lab mix, Winnie. A few of my favorite things are coffee, hats, Game of Thrones and 90s-inspired streetwear!
